Annual Ice Cream Social kicking off Sweet Corn Days the last Thursday in July from 5pm-7pm. Free will donation!

Kicks off the Thanksgiving weekend! This 5k run/walk starts on Historic Main Street Elkader and heads out towards the river road for a scenic view of the river.

On a Saturday before the holidays, we team up with Turkey River Greenhouse to host a holiday planter or wreath workshop at their greenhouse.

A NEW event for 2024! Join us as we create floral May Day Baskets at the Elkader Floral Shop on Tues. April 30th.

Another NEW event for 2024 is this free fishing event in partnership with Deer Run Resort on Saturday, June 8th from 9am-11am. Advance registration is not required. Show up with your pole and bait and be ready to catch some fish!

NEW for 2024! This event will be held the first Saturday of each month June-September on the Schera's patio overlooking the Turkey River. Check-in at 8:45am, yoga starts at 9am. No RSVP required. Watch our social media pages for weather updates, if necessary.

In 2022 we launched a new event to celebrate the string lights being installed downtown Elkader — Light Up the Night! We've continued to host one of our Rhythm on the River events each year downtown since then.
