Our endowment fund will be participating in Great Give Day again this year on May 15th, 2024 through the Community Foundation of Greater Dubuque.
- What is an endowment fund?
— A large sum of money that has been given to a nonprofit organization that will be used to pay for continuing support. The Main Street Elkader endowment fund needs to reach $10,000 before we can start withdrawing funds to use towards special projects within our community.
- What is Great Give Day?
— “An annual online giving event to connect nonprofits and donors across the seven-county region. Great Give Day inspires community members to come together for 24 hours to celebrate and support local nonprofits.”
