Each year, the Main Street Elkader Design Committee works on downtown beautification projects. As you know, our hanging baskets and sidewalk flower pots are very important to creating a positive environment in the downtown for both guests and those who call Elkader home.

We ask for your support, big or small, for this important project. Business owners, community members and visitors alike can support us by donating towards our flower fund to help keep our downtown beautification process successful. 

New for 2024, we are collecting funds for helping make our downtown beautiful for the autumn season as well. We plan to decorate downtown with mums, big small and full of fall foliage colors — perfectly mimicking the beautiful bluffs surrounding our wonderful community.
